We were delighted to welcome one of our distinguished alumni, Arman Şernaz, CEO of Lighthouse Visual Effects, who met with our students to speak about the field of VFX (Visual Effects) — a vital component of the contemporary film and digital media industry.
Through engaging examples, he explained how the striking and often surreal scenes we see in films, television series and advertisements are created using advanced computer technologies. He also shared insights from his own professional work, including projects in 3D modelling, digital set design and special effects production for both film and advertising. Throughout the session, he responded to our students’ questions with openness and enthusiasm.
During the discussion, Arman Şernaz offered an inspiring message: “When work is pursued with passion, success inevitably follows,” encouraging our students to approach both their creative endeavours and career aspirations with dedication and purpose.
It was a particular source of pride for us that his father, Misak Şernaz, is also a graduate of our school. Welcoming two generations of alumni on the same day was a truly meaningful and proud moment for both our school community and our students.
