We Learn In Collaboration with Europe.

Our eTwinning Projects

eTwinning

What is eTwinning?

eTwinning is Europe’s largest educational community, established to promote collaboration among schools across Europe. It was created for teachers, school administrators, librarians, and other educational staff working in schools in participating countries.

eTwinning provides a range of digital tools and support to enable teachers to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, and share examples of best practice. Participants can carry out both short-term and long-term projects and implement them together with their students. Through the effective use of information and communication technologies, eTwinning encourages cultural exchange between schools, creativity, and the adoption of innovative teaching methods.

Launched in 2005 by the European Commission, eTwinning has been integrated into the Erasmus+ programme. As of 2025, eTwinning activities continue in 45 member countries. These countries include Germany, Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Armenia, Estonia, Finland, France, Palestine, Southern Cyprus (Greek Cypriot Administration), Georgia, the Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Iceland, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, the Republic of Moldova, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Tunisia, Türkiye, Ukraine, Jordan, and Greece.

By providing the necessary support, tools, and services through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), eTwinning facilitates schools in establishing both short-term and long-term partnerships on a wide range of topics, thereby promoting school collaboration across Europe.

International School Collaboration

A learning experience that opens onto the world.

eTwinning projects bring together international educational initiatives in which our students collaborate with peers from different countries, creating, sharing and learning through genuine communication. Through these projects, students experience a learning journey enriched not only by academic content but also by intercultural interaction and cooperation.

The eTwinning projects carried out at our school encourage students to use their foreign language skills in authentic contexts, to engage with digital tools in a conscious and productive way, and to take responsibility within a team.

Throughout this process, they develop future-oriented skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving and confident self-expression.This approach prepares our students for the global world from an early age, supporting their growth into confident, open-minded individuals who communicate effectively and respect cultural diversity.

Mathematics of Art eTwinning Project

Our school has successfully carried out the eTwinning project “Mathematics of Art” in the academic year 2022—2023. Within the scope of the project, mathematics is not limited only to numbers but has a strong relationship with many fields such as literature, art, nature, cinema and engineering.
With the activities conducted, students are intended to realize the place and importance of mathematics in everyday life and to grasp the connection between mathematics and art and literature from an interdisciplinary perspective. In addition, students' research and interpretation skills were supported by studying the lives of famous mathematicians.
The “Mathematics of Art” project has been a creative and awareness-oriented eTwinning work that helps students develop positive attitudes towards mathematics. Our project was considered in accordance with European quality criteria and awarded.

Let's Write an Ekphrastic Poem 2: The Sculpted Form

Let's Write an Ekphrastic Poem 2: The Sculpted Form With the eTwinning project, our students produce creative works that combine literature, philosophy and art, inspired by the art of sculpture. Students who study sculptures belonging to different cultures, based on these works, write ekphrastic poems both in their native language and in English; develop their aesthetic perspectives, language skills and intercultural understanding. While the work resulting from the project is shared with a wide audience through the eTwinning platform and school channels, the aim is to spread the artistic productions of our students beyond school boundaries to society.
