As part of our Career Days programme for secondary school students, we had the pleasure of welcoming Interior Architect and Furniture Designer Nazar Şigaher. A co-founder of Deadalus and İde, Şigaher was honoured with the 2019 German Design Award for the clock he designed for Meyer Objects.
During an engaging and insightful conversation with our students, he spoke about the design process, creative thinking and his own professional journey. He also addressed topics such as the patent process, the distinction between inspiration and imitation, and the collaboration between designer and manufacturer.
For students with an interest in the world of design, it was a highly valuable session that offered a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the industry. We extend our sincere thanks to Nazar Şigaher for his participation and for sharing his expertise with us.
