On Wednesday, 3 September, our Year 9 students took part in the “City of Democracy” workshop organised by the Hrant Dink Foundation, enjoying a truly memorable experience.
Throughout the activity, students worked in groups to exchange ideas, engage in discussion and collaborate in designing their own “democratic cities”. In doing so, they did far more than simply play a game — they gained a deeper understanding of the concept of democracy, learned to listen to diverse perspectives, and experienced the importance of working together towards a shared vision.
This meaningful event provided our students with an environment that was both enjoyable and educational.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Hrant Dink Foundation for this inspiring and thought-provoking workshop.
